Tell us a little about yourself and your role at HireResource Staffing. 

I am Sheilla Linog, Sales Assistant at HireResource Staffing. 

I graduated with a Medical Course in the Philippines and worked in a Healthcare and Regulatory setting for eight years. Coming from a different background and navigating the staffing and recruiting services Industry was a challenging transition for me but I embraced the process and the learning journey. My role at HireResource Staffing evolves around providing operational support. Every day I do my best to render excellent administrative support to the team. My role has grown in terms of scope since I started.

What inspired you to join HireResource Staffing, and what keeps you motivated here?

I believe it's always about the people I work with. I love our team culture and how we collaborate. In HR, we see challenges as opportunities for growth and learning. This culture encourages me, knowing that some days are smooth sailing while others require a bit more effort, and that's perfectly fine. 

What skills or strengths do you believe have helped you succeed in your role? 

I believe my strong time management skills and attention to detail are key factors in my daily success. I don’t just complete tasks—I analyze my work, identify potential areas of concern, and communicate about those effectively. Clear and open communication is also one of my core strengths. 

What’s your approach to working with your team members and fostering collaboration? 

I prioritize open communication and value the diverse perspectives of my team. I listen, learn, and appreciate their expertise, recognizing the importance of every effort we contribute together. 

What advice would you give to someone starting out at HireResource Staffing or in your field? 

My advice is to start by mastering the basics—they form the foundation for everything you do moving forward. Then, focus on developing strategic thinking. In our line of work, the goal is progress, not perfection. Always strive to learn and improve, and don’t hesitate to ask for help when you need it. 

What do you enjoy most about working at HireResource Staffing? 

I enjoy the collaboration and the sense of purpose. Being able to contribute something and make a difference, celebrate another person’s achievements and overcome challenges makes working at HireResource Staffing more meaningful. 

Looking ahead, what are your goals for 2025—both personally and professionally? 

Professionally, I aim to further develop my skills and pursue career growth. Personally, I plan to prioritize my health and well-being, explore a new hobby, and travel more!

If it’s been a while since your last visit, now is the time to schedule those appointments and start the year off right.

Review Your W-4 for Tax Purposes The start of a new year is also a good time to review your W-4 tax withholding form.
