Mark Yaranon
Recruiter

Tell us a little about yourself and your role at HireResource Staffing.

I’m a Recruiter here at HireResource Staffing, focused on sourcing top talent and supporting candidates throughout the hiring process. My day-to-day involves identifying qualified individuals, conducting interviews, and coordinating with clients to ensure we find the right fit for their teams.

What inspired you to join HireResource Staffing, and what keeps you motivated here?

I was drawn to HireResource Staffing because of its strong reputation for building meaningful relationships with both candidates and clients. What keeps me motivated is the collaborative environment and the ability to make a real impact in people’s careers.

What skills or strengths do you believe have helped you succeed in your role?

I’d say my strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to stay organized under pressure have been key. I also bring empathy and patience, which help me build trust with candidates and navigate challenges smoothly.

What’s your approach to working with your team members and fostering collaboration?

I believe in open communication, sharing insights, and always being willing to lend a hand. Team success is individual success, and I strive to maintain a positive, supportive atmosphere where ideas and feedback flow freely.

What advice would you give to someone starting out at HireResource Staffing or in your field?

Stay curious, be adaptable, and don’t hesitate to ask questions. Recruiting is fast-paced, but every challenge is an opportunity to learn and grow. Building relationships and staying genuine goes a long way.

What do you enjoy most about working at HireResource Staffing?

The people and the culture. It’s inspiring to work with a team that truly values collaboration and continuous improvement. Plus, seeing the excitement on a candidate’s face when they land a job makes everything worth it.

Looking ahead, what are your goals for 2025—both personally and professionally?

Professionally, I aim to take on more leadership responsibilities and continue expanding my network of quality candidates. Personally, I’m focused on improving work-life balance and pursuing personal development through reading and fitness.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month: You’re Not Alone

Mental Health Awareness Month is a time to remind ourselves that taking care of our mental well-being is just as important as taking care of our physical health. Whether you're on the job site, in the office, or anywhere in between, your mental health matters, every day.

Work can bring its fair share of challenges. Deadlines, long hours, changing environments, they all add up. That’s why it’s so important to know that you're not alone. Asking for help or simply taking a moment to talk things through is a sign of strength, not weakness.

As your Contractor Liaison, I want you to know: I’m here for you. Whether you need someone to talk to, want help navigating a difficult situation, or just need to vent after a long day, my door — and my phone — is always open.

We can also help connect you with additional resources, including mental health professionals or programs available through our company benefits. No problem is too big or too small to bring forward.

This month, and every month, please remember to:

  • Take breaks when you need them.

  • Reach out if you’re struggling — even if you're not sure what you need.

  • Check in on your coworkers. A simple “How’s it going?” can go a long way.

  • Prioritize sleep, movement, and things that bring you peace.

Let’s work together to build a culture that supports mental well-being, for ourselves and each other.

Need someone to talk to? I’m here.
